Sorry if this mission has been mentioned already:
I am playing the trial version and got up to a Vexor today. I outfitted it with guns and did a few level 2 missions to practice. I'm still working out the nuances of choosing the right ammo to tweak the optimal ranges and such.
But then I came upon a level 2 chain called Human Cattle. During the first 3 battles, I had to warp away to recover and go back, but I trudged through them. Then I come to the 4th mission. I arrive at a warp gate and start to approach it. Then suddenly, a covert ops ship with 8 or so fighters appear, and I get WARP SCRAMBLED!!! In a level 2 mission??? And the fighters were shooting missiles!! Needless to say, I got asploded. A friend who has been playing the game for a while and has a boatload of skill points brought his Vexor after I bought and outfitted a new one, and we went in together, and got through the 4th and 5th missions..
Anyway, just wanted to say, warp scrambling in a level 2 chain - NOT NICE, NOT FAIR to a new player who is still exploring. And the other player agrees the 4th and 5th mission in this chain are ridiculously hard for level 2.

Just to say I had exactly the same experience on human cattle 4/5. I was also in a Vexor, couldnt run, couldnt hit the scrambling ship much, dead within a min or 2. I am also new to the game (about 1 month) and even with insurance i have barely enuf isk to replace my ship, never mind the fittings. The damage these npcs do at this level is really quite high, and I only managed part 3 by warping out probably 10 times.
tbh i find this very demotivating. Its not as if i can try a variety of setups as i cant afford to lose another ship. I think part of the problem is that this mission was WAY harder than all the other l2 missions I have been doing. If the npcs are going to warp scramble, i need to have a chance of killing them before im killed. Or if they are going to be as tough as they seem to be, they shouldnt scramble at this level. Perhaps for someone who has been in game a good while its not so hard, but id think most ppl doing l2 missions are fairly new like me.
Seems like my only option is to go afk 4 weeks while improving skills...
